As Kevin is about to spray the door window, Miss Clove opens the door and Kevin accidentally sprays her in the face with shaving cream causing her to stumble around and break one of her vases. They run away and Miss Clove angrily stares at them before laughing. The next night, Dougie and Kevin go to Miss Clove’s house, and she invites them into her house. She tells them that she loves Halloween, but no children ever go to her house. She tells them that she is going to give them a special treat. She walks away and comes back holding a wooden box with a clawed hand inside. She tells them that it is the claw of a vulture made from wood and that whoever receives it will get three wishes. David asks if they get three wishes a piece and she assures them that they will each get three. Kevin doesn’t want to accept it, but Miss Clove insists. Before they leave, she warns them to be careful what they wish for, you just might get it. | ||
