Background
Lupita lives with her mother and her father in Mexico City.
During the events of Santa Claus (1959) played by Lupita
After watching a puppet show, Lupita and her mother are walking in a market area when Lupita sees a doll she wants. She grabs it, but brings it back, ignoring The Devil Pitch's advice to take it for herself. While dreaming, Lupita has a dream that she is surrounded by life size dolls who tell her to steal and that dolls don't like good girls. Lupita tells the dolls that she doesn't want to be evil and wakes up. Lupita asks her mother who Santa is and then tells her that she doesn't think Santa likes her because he has never brought her a doll. On Christmas morning, Lupita wakes up and finds a large doll outside the door of her house.
