Detailed Synopsis

Max waits on an empty road as Anne Bonny rides up on a horse. Max tells Anne that she has come alone and that Spanish Intelligence has learned of their plan of splitting the cache. She continues that Spain has demanded that all the value of the gold be returned or Nassau will be destroyed. Max tells Anne that Woodes Rogers is a reasonable man. Max then tells Anne that Rackham is being tortured. Max tells Anne that if she gives up the stolen cache then Max will make sure Rackham is released. Max returns to Rogers and tells him and Eleanor Guthrie that Anne will return the cache. Captain Flint tells The Maroon Queen that they need to get the jewels that Rackham took. Captain Charles Vane tells her about the Spanish intelligence he came across that included a plan on invading Nassau. Flint tells The Maroon Queen of his plan to force Rogers' forces to attack the Maroons in their own territory where they will be at a disadvantage. The Maroon Queen tells everyone but Flint to leave and then asks him details of his plan, which he has no answers to give. Flint admits to The Maroon Queen that he is not certain they will win, but their chances for success will never be better. Flint says that he plans on going to Nassau to look for Rackham and The Maroon Queen tells him of a stockpile of weapons Mr. Scott had hidden if needed and Madi will need to come with Flint.

As Rogers is walking to Rackham's cell, he notices the Door Guard is obviously suffering from an illness and tells him to report to Dr. Marcus. Rogers tells Rackham that he believes Anne will give up the remainder of the cache and says that the last thing he will allow is for himself to be cast as a villain. As Rogers is leaving Rackham's cell, Rackham warns him that Anne will be even more upset when she finds out that she was lied to and Rackham was never tortured and that everyone is a villain in Nassau. Mrs. Hudson tells Grandal when Anne and Rackham's share of the cache will be added to the gold and shipped back to Havana. Grandal tells her that now they must also send Rackham to Havana to be punished. Mrs. Hudson then tells Rogers about Grandal's new demand. Eleanor then tells Max what Spain demands and while they are talking, Featherstone walks in and notices Max seems flustered. After Featherstone leaves, Eleanor promises Max that Rogers' men will not attack Anne unless in self-defense. Idelle sees Featherstone standing outside Max's office and he starts to tell her that he heard them talking about Rackham, before he stops himself. Flint tells Madi, John Silver, Vane and Billy Bones his plan when they arrive at Nassau. Vane doesn't think it is worth it to try and recruit the pirates who turned their backs on them and Flint tells him the point is not to necessarily gain recruits, but to make those who don't join them afraid to fight them. Billy says that Silver should be the one sent to recruit. De Groot tells Flint that Nassau has been spotted.

Max has a drink with Eleanor and tells her that she has become like Eleanor and that she hears that Eleanor is having an affair with Rogers. Eleanor returns to Rogers and they have sex. Afterwards, Rogers tells Eleanor of the illness that is sweeping through his men and ultimately Eleanor is more like her fellow Nassauans than English and she gives him her word that she will never betray him. As Featherstone is walking, he is pulled into the shadows by Vane and Featherstone tells Vane that Rackham is to be handed over to the Spanish. Featherstone asks Idelle to gather information on where Anne is to meet for the exchange. Madi goes with Kofi and Udo to meet with Eme. Madi tells Eme that Mr. Scott is dying and that he asks for a favor. Silver goes to a tavern with Billy, Dooley and Joji and walks over to the desk holding the pardon books. He warns the former pirates inside that they have betrayed Flint. Tavern Bystander says that Flint is dead. Eme tells Madi that the weapons and ammo will be brought to The Walrus and Madi remembers when her and Eleanor were playmates. Silver tells the people in the tavern that everyone whose name is in the pardon book originally pledged to defend Nassau and then takes the book. He says that anyone who meets them on the beach will be accepted back, while those who don't rejoin will face consequences. Dufresne stands up and calls Silver half a man and calls Flint's threat weak. He walks up to Silver and calls him an invalid and Silver hits Dufresne in the face with a tankard and then crushes his head with his stump.

Once they are back on the ship word spreads among the crew about what Silver did to Dufresne. Flint asks Silver how he is doing emotionally and Silver tells him that sometimes he feels good after doing the bad things he must do. Captain Benjamin Hornigold watches as Dufresne's body is taken away. Max tells Rogers that Silver is the one who killed Dufresne. Rogers asks Max to have her prostitutes spread word about how pathetic Flint's ploy is. Max gives the message to her employees and then introduces Mrs. Mapleton as the returning madame. Afterwards, Mapleton thanks Max for trusting her and offers Georgia to Max. The next morning, De Groot calls to Flint. Flint looks to the beach and sees Rogers in a tent on the beach. Flint takes a boat to the beach and sits down in front of Rogers. Rogers tells Flint that he knows of Flint's and Thomas Hamilton's efforts that helped him get to where he is now. Flint tells Rogers that Thomas was killed for trying to change England and that Miranda Barlow was killed while she and Flint tried to make peace with England. Rogers warns Flint that he can be a villain and he will hang any pirate he catches and he is not afraid of Flint. Flint then returns to The Walrus. Featherstone tells Vane that they have to come up with a plan that gets Rackham back. Idelle then tells them where Anne is to exchange the jewels. Major Rollins rides up in a carriage to the meeting point and Anne asks where Rackham is. Rollins has his men get the chest and they leave. Vane and Anne board The Walrus and explain their plan to Flint of getting Rackham back.
