Death is the manifestation of death in Captain Flint's dream.

During the events of Black Sails: Season 3 Episode 2 XX. played by Greig Stewart Rogers

Captain Flint has a dream with Miranda Barlow in it, but this time also encounters Death.

During the events of Black Sails: Season 3 Episode 3 XXI. played by Greig Stewart Rogers

As Flint is staring along the ship he again sees the image of Death.

During the events of Black Sails: Season 3 Episode 5 XXIII. played by Greig Stewart Rogers

While standing in front of Death, Flint tells Miranda that he once saw a dead dog and watched as the flies landed on its eyes. That was the first moment that he wondered what death would be like. Miranda tells Flint that he resented her for her actions and there is a possibility she might resent him if he just gives up. She tells him that he is not alone and then disappears as does Death.
