Background

Baylor is a representative of The Ruler on Earth.

During the events of Commando Cody: Sky Marshal of the Universe, Season 1 Episode 4 Nightmare Typhoon played by Lyle Talbot

Commissioner Henderson contacts Baylor and asks for more time for Earth to come to a decision on surrender. Baylor then contacts The Ruler and tells him of Earth's request. The Ruler figures out that the Earth is stalling for time and gives them two days. Mason asks Baylor how they are going to find out what Commando Cody is up to. Baylor tells Mason to give Henderson his answer while he figures out a plan. Later, Baylor shows Mason a vok-a-sep-ter which can pick up conversations. He then tells Mason to give it to Old Chris to place at headquarters. Baylor and Mason listen in on Commando Cody's plan to spread the counter-gas causing the bombs to explode prematurely. Baylor then contacts The Ruler and tells him of Commando Cody's plan.

During the events of Commando Cody: Sky Marshal of the Universe, Season 1 Episode 5 War of the Space Giants played by Lyle Talbot

Baylor and Mason listen as a radio news presenter says that another explosion has struck, this time at a government atomic research building. Baylor calls Sanders and tells him his last blast was exactly on target. Baylor then calls The Ruler and tells him that M-7 Captain is waiting for his next target. The Ruler tells Baylor that the next target will be the arsenal and then he will give Earth his ultimatum. Mason complains that The Ruler is using them as guinea pigs. Baylor tells him the arsenal building isn't near them and gives Mason an antidote injection.

During the events of Commando Cody: Sky Marshal of the Universe, Season 1 Episode 6 Destroyers of the Sun played by Lyle Talbot

Baylor and Mason listen as the radio announcer says that food shortages are already happening. Baylor tells Mason that The Ruler's plan is working perfectly and soon there won't be anyone alive on Earth. Mason worries that they will die too, but Baylor assures him that The Ruler will rescue them. Baylor calls The Ruler and asks when a rocket will be sent to Earth to pick him and Mason up. The Ruler tells him that he will send a rocket as soon as the cosmic dust dissipates. Later, Baylor and Mason are forced to escape from Commando Cody.

During the events of Commando Cody: Sky Marshal of the Universe, Season 1 Episode 7 Robot Monster from Mars played by Lyle Talbot

The Ruler's Robot breaks into Commando Cody's office and Baylor communicates to Commando Cody, through the Robot, that he must hand over the plans for his rocket and also how to get through the cosmic dust field. Commando Cody goes to the safe and then pulls out a weapon and sprays the Robot with it, making the Robot stop moving. Henchman asks what happened and Baylor tells him Commando Cody must have burned out the controls. Baylor calls The Ruler and tells him that he failed to get the papers or kill Commando Cody. The Ruler then tells Baylor to try again. Baylor shows Henchman a nerve gun and tells him to go to Commando Cody's office with it. Dick Preston is captured and wakes up in in a chair in Baylor's office and Baylor tells him the chair will make him follow their commands.

After the chair works, Baylor tells Dick to go back to Commando Cody's office. Dick grabs a briefcase from the safe full of Commando Cody's paperwork and brings them to Baylor and the Henchman. Baylor looks through it and discovers the only thing the papers don't explain is how to get through the cosmic space dust. He asks Dick if he knows how and Dick tells him it would take a couple of weeks to duplicate. Baylor has Dick call Station 8 Superintendent in order to allow one of The Ruler's spaceships through the cosmic dust. Baylor contacts rocket N-6 and tells N-6 Leader that he is cleared to land. Baylor tells the Henchman to take Dick and the briefcase to the location where the rocket will land.

During the events of Commando Cody: Sky Marshal of the Universe, Season 1 Episode 9 Solar Sky Raiders played by Lyle Talbot

Baylor tells The Ruler that there are now four suns in the sky and people are rioting. The Ruler tells Baylor that even more suns will appear in the sky. Mason tells Baylor that can't stay there much longer and Baylor tells him that they are moving their office to a vacant refrigerator plant where Nordahl and Kirk have their headquarters.

During the events of Commando Cody: Sky Marshal of the Universe, Season 1 Episode 10 S.O.S. Ice Age played by Lyle Talbot

Tantor parachutes onto Earth in a protective sack and then calls Baylor and tells him phase two is completed. Baylor contacts The Ruler and tells him that Tantor is ready to receive the synchronous interlock signal. Mason wonders if the Earth scientists will be able to counteract the machine.
