Broomhilde

Background

Broomhilde is the governess for Marian in Rottingham, England. Her horse is named Farfelkugel.

During the events of Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993) played by Megan Cavanagh

Marian sits in a tub and sings a song wondering when her true love will arrive. Broomhilde walks in and tells Marian she needs to get out of the tub before she catches a cold. A bluebird lands on Marian's hand and she wishes she will meet a man who will possess the key to her girdle. Marian hears of a plot to kill Robin Hood and she and Broomhilde ride to warn Robin. Marian tells Robin about the Sheriff's plan and Robin promises "you won't go". Robin then sings to Marian as the Merry Men watch. Marian tells him about her chastity belt and how it is written that someday someone will come with a key that fits. After Robin saves her from the Sheriff of Rottingham, Marian and Robin tell each other they love them, and Broomhilde stops them from having sex until they get married.
