Burke greets [[Ripley]] when she is rescued from the escape pod. He tells her that her daughter died two years ago and tries to offer her help before her meeting with officials from various branches of government and company officials. Burke has wildcatters from the Hadleys Hope colony on LV426 visit the site of the crashed alien ship and after the company loses contact with the colony, Burke and [[Lieutenant Gorman]] ask Ripley to investigate what happened to the colony. Once they get to the surface of the planet, Burke works to try and collect a [[Xenomorph]] specimen and tries to impregnate Ripley and [[Newt]] when he releases two [[Facehugger]]s. Burke is killed when a large group of xenomorphs attack the operations center and Burke abandons everyone else, locking himself in the lab. He opens another door and a xenomorph on the other side kills him. | |||
