Background
Powell is the former commander of the scoutship Dark Star in galactic sector EB290. He was killed by a short circuit in the rear seat panel of his chair and was placed into cryogenic sleep. Powell is a fan of the Dodgers.
During the events of Dark Star (1974) played by Joe Saunders
Lieutenant Doolittle goes to speak with the body of Powell. He asks Powell for help after telling him that Bomb 20 won't drop and is about to explode. Powell tells Doolittle to teach Bomb 20 about phenomenology.
