During the events of Basket Case played by Bill Freeman
Dr. Lifflander is walking home when he hears a noise. Running into his house the power goes out in his home. Dr. Lifflander grabs a gun and shoots at an unseen assailant but is killed when a clawed hand rips his face. It is revealed when Dr. Needleman calls Dr. Kutter that Dr. Lifflander was found cut in half.
