Background

Eddie is part of a storm chaser team run by Jonas and sponsored by Okla-Tech Severe Weather Research in Oklahoma.

During the events of Twister (1996) played by Zach Grenier

Eddie is at a diner while Jonas shoots a video about his Digital Orthographic Telemeter or D.O.T. 3. After they leave the diner, Eddie notices Jo's team headed west, and after mentioning it to him, Jonas has his team change direction and follow them. When Jo's vehicle is destroyed by a tornado, Eddie asks if they should stop and help as they drive by, but Jonas tells him to keep on driving. Eddie is killed when a large piece of metal impales him as Jonas and him are driving parallel to a tornado after being warned by Bill.
