Father Presents is married and has a daughter and a son. They have an agreement to stay in the Waits family home during a month long vacation, while the Waits family stays in their home.

The Father of the Presents family angrily tells Michael that he and his family are late. He and his family then drive away in their truck. When Joshua is eaves dropping on Bells sermon, he sees the Presents family hasn't left. When questioned by Michael why they are still in Nilbog, the Father tells him they had car trouble.
