Giant Spiders are created from the radiation caused by a miniature black hole.
During the events of The Giant Spider Invasion (1975)
The Giant Spiders erupt from rocks and spread across the Kester property. One of them kills Ev and then kills Kester. Another one attacks and kills Billy and attacks Terry. The main Giant Spider then moves to attack the local towns, and kills Dutch, and the Deputy, before being destroyed by Dr. Vance and Dr. Jenny Langer.
