Background
Infected also known as Dark Seekers are victims of the Krippin Virus that have mutated. They gather in hives and are led by an Alpha Male and an Alpha Female. The Infected are highly aggressive and attack and kill anything they can catch. They have elevated heart rates and are susceptible to sunlight, which can kill them.
During the events of I Am Legend (2007) played by Exo, Lynna Davis, Moses Harris, Jr., Eric Jenkins, Heather Lang, Deborah Lohse, Luke Miller, Okwui Okpokwasili, Paradox Pollack, Hollie K. Siedel, Mark Steger, Anthony Vincent, Katherine Brook, Anika Ellis, Kennis Hawkins, Reed Kelly, Drew Leary, Jon-Paul Mateo, Courtney Munch, Erin Owen, Will Rawls, Hannah Sim, Charlie Sutton, Greg Wattkis, Vince Cupone, John Grady, Marc Inniss, Grasan Kingsberry, Asa Liebmann, Ian McLaughlin, Kimberly Shannon Murphy, Victor Paguia, William Schultz, Eric Spear, and David Hamilton Thomson
While following after Sam, Robert Neville comes across an Infected that has killed a buck. Robert kills the Infected but must flee when a large group chase after him. The Alpha Female is caught in a trap set by Robert and the Alpha Male continues to send Infected after Robert to get her back. A large group of Infected eventually break into Robert's home and attack him and either die in a grenade blast or leave with the Alpha Male and Female, who Robert sets free.
