J.D. Redding owns a house in North Dakota. He is divorced and his daughter is Tory.
During the events of Leprechaun (1993) played by John Sanderford
J.D. drives with Tory to his new house in North Dakota. Later while Tory is getting a can of paint she is scratched in the leg and when J.D. puts his hand into a hole in a nearby tree to try and catch the cat he thinks scratched her, he is bit in the hand. Nathan, along with Tory, Ozzie and Alex then drive J.D. to the hospital in town. J.D. then returns to the house a few days later with members of the sheriff's department.
