Joshua
Background
Joshua Waits is the son of Michael and Diana Waits and the brother of Holly Waits. He has conversations with his dead grandfather Seth.
During the events of Troll 2 (1990) played by Michael Stephenson
Joshua is told a bedtime story by Seth about the evil Goblins. He travels with his family to the town of Nilbog, and on their way their is warned by Seth about the goblins. Once the family reaches Nilbog, Joshua pees on the food left in the house so his family will not be turned into plants. When he goes into town with Michael he realizes the town of Nilbog is goblin spelled backwards when he sees the words reflected on a car side mirror. He overhears a sermon by preacher Bells about the sins of eating meat. When Joshua and Michael return to the farm house they are staying at, Joshua is attacked by Creedence and he is saved by Seth. He is given a Molotov cocktail by Seth but they are stopped by Bells who takes the Molotov cocktail away from Joshua. Seth makes the Molotov cocktail explode in Bells hand, setting him on fire. The townspeople then surround Joshua and his family in the farm house. They have a seance and Joshua is teleported to the home of Creedence and Seth tells him they have to use their powers of good to stop the goblins. Creedence and the goblins attack Joshua, but he eats a bologna sandwich and when the rest of his family arrive they all put their hands on the stones from Stonehenge which causes lightening to strike and the goblins and Creedence to disappear. Joshua and his family return home and Diana goes inside and eats an apple. Joshua screams in horror as she is transformed into green goop and eaten by a group of goblins.
