Kubrick is part of a storm chaser team run by Jonas and sponsored by Okla-Tech Severe Weather Research in Oklahoma. He records all of the events.
During the events of Twister (1996) played by Nicholas Sadler
Kubrick is at a diner while Jonas shoots a video about his Digital Orthographic Telemeter or D.O.T. 3. He joins the team as they search for tornadoes in different locations and witnesses Jonas and Eddie being killed when a tornado picks up their truck and slams it into the ground, causing it to explode.
