Malak
Background
Malak is a thief and companion of Conan. Malak is always hesitant to face danger.
During the events of Conan the Destroyer (1984) played by Tracey Walter
Malak and Conan are at the shrine to Valeria when they are confronted by Queen Taramis' Soldiers. Malak is captured, however Conan kills enough soldiers that Queen Taramis tells the others to halt. When Conan agrees to accompany Taramis and Bombaata to Shadizar, Malak joins him. The next morning they leave with Princess Jehnna and Bombaata to retrieve the Horn of Dagoth. On their way they stop to get Akiro the Wizard. They see him about to be cooked and eaten by a group of Tribal Villagers and Malak cuts him loose from the fire. They go to the tower of Toth-Amon and retrieve a jewel after saving Jehnna who had been captured by Toth-Amon. During their journey to the temple of the Horn of Dagoth, Malak is rebuffed on his advances of Zula and explains to Jehnna what a man and woman do after they meet up. Within the temple of the Horn of Dagoth, Malak steals a large jewel. After Bombaata escapes with Jehnna, Malak is hesitant to go back to Shadizar to save her, but eventually follows the others. He helps Conan fight the hideously transformed Dagoth and once Conan rips its horn out, Malak runs up and stabs it before standing on it with a victory pose. The next day Malak is promoted by the now Queen Jehnna to Court Fool.
