Tom Parkinson calls Mayor when Lt. Vincent D'Agosta threatens to keep the museum closed due to the murders. The Mayor tells D’Agosta he wants the Superstition event to go on despite the murders as his Mayor's Wife|wife is really looking forward to it. The Mayor arrives with his wife to the gala opening of the Superstition exhibit. A stamped causes most of the guests to be stuck inside the museum. D’Agosta and Pollux enter the CCTV room and using a walkie talkie, he tells Parkinson to hand the Mayor his walkie talkie. The Mayor starts to talk, however D’Agosta tells him to shut the fuck up and that Detective Hollingsworth is in charge. D’Agosta then tells Hollingsworth to take the remaining people through the tunnels. Mayor Owen makes it out of the tunnels with the rest of Hollingsworth’s group.
