During the events of Theatre Macabre: Season 1 Episode 11 Tell-Tale Hearts played by Olgierd Lukaszewicz

The Murderer explains to a doctor why he murdered the Old Man. He says that he feared the Old Man's malignant eye which was always watching him. He says he didn't hate the old man or want to steal his gold, he just hated his eye. He continues that the Old Man's left eye was covered in a thin film and evil. He tells the doctor that he crept into the Old Man's room for the past seven nights, but the opportunity to remove his eye hadn't happened. On the eighth night, while listening to the Old Man play on the harmonium and sing, the Murderer decided that he would due the deed that night. That day everywhere he looked, he saw the eye. That night, he crept into the Old Man's room, but this night, the creak of the door woke up the Old Man. The Murderer was then forced to strangle the Old Man to death, not out of hate, but out of fear of his evil eye. He then took the body and placed it under the floorboards in the Old Man's room and covered it with a rug.

In the morning, Police Officer 1, Police Officer 2 and Police Officer 3 arrive at the boarding house and tell the Murderer that his neighbors complained of screams during the night. The Murderer, who was confident, let them in and smiled and joked with them. He told them that the Old Man is out of the country and brought them first to his room and then into the Old Man's room. The Murderer suddenly started to hear a dull rhythmic beating. He was sure that the Police Officers heard the noise, but they acted like nothing was wrong. The Murderer finally could not take the beating sound anymore and begged the Police Officers to remove the body and dig out the Old Man's heart.
