Jason Locke reports to Newman that Jo Santini didn't seem to know anything about Airwolf. He then asks about St. John and Newman angrily tells him St. John is none of his business.
During the events of Airwolf: Season 4 Episode 9 Stavograd Part 1 played by William B. Davis
Newman is briefed on the situation of Airwolf entering Soviet airspace by Locke and angrily tells Locke to get Airwolf out. Later, Newman tells Locke, the F.I.R.M. is disavowing any knowledge of Airwolf.

Newman tells a superior that Locke left for the Soviet Union on his own accord.
During the events of Airwolf: Season 4 Episode 13 Rogue Warrior played by William B. Davis
At FIRM headquarters, Hardesty tells Newman that Airwolf has ignored the abort message and is continuing on the mission. Newman asks Davis if he contacted Airwolf's hideout and Davis tells him about the supposed communication problem. Hardesty accuses the Airwolf program of having security issues, but Newman says the security problems are not coming from the FIRM. Locke goes to FIRM headquarters and breaks into Newman's office. He is then caught by Hardesty and Newman. Hardesty and Newman tell Locke that his access has been restricted and the entire Airwolf operation is to be reevaluated. Later, Davis tells Newman and Hardesty that Locke broke into the computer network. Two jets are sent after Airwolf and fire missiles at it. Newman runs into the office and tells Hardesty to call off the jets. Locke goes into the room and gives Newman the information on the traitors. Davis puts it in the computer and Newman orders Hardesty arrested by two FIRM security personnel. Hardesty takes the gun from one of the security personnel and Davis tells the others that Airwolf has been destroyed. Hardesty shoots one of the security personnel and Locke shoots him dead.
During the events of Airwolf: Season 4 Episode 16 The Key played by William B. Davis
December 28th, at FIRM headquarters, Newman and General Harrisburg watch a video by Dr. Badham where he threatens to fire missiles from over 20 nuclear missile silos in the United States and USSR which he and his group have taken over. Jo walks into the room and tells them British intelligence believe the Cyprus Party are funding Badham and they are located at an abandoned brewery in the North Sea.
December 29th, Locke tells Jo that Mike Rivers is dead. He tells General Harrisburg that the mission failed and Badham was killed by Pervis. While Locke is running a diagnostic check, he realizes that Mike is only in a coma and not dead. Newman tells Jo that Mike is alive and Mike is brought to a hospital. As Locke, St. John and Jo sit in the waiting room, General Harrisburg tells them that they have two days for Mike to come to in order to stop the launch of missiles.
December 30th, after Mike comes out of his coma, General Harrisburg asks Mike what he remembers, but Mike can't remember anything.
