During the events of The Ninth Gate (1999) played by Jose Lopez Rodero
Dean Corso goes to Pablo and Pedro's store to ask them about The Nine Gates. He asks if the copy he has could be a forgery, but they tell him it would be very expensive to make one and that they don't think it is. They also tell him that while Andrew Telfer, who sold the book to Boris Balkan, purchased it from them, it was Liana Telfer who wanted the book. They give him the clue that some of the engravings are signed by Torchia, while others are signed LCF, Lucifer.
