Roger is a Clacksman in Ankh-Morpork, on Discworld.
During the events of Terry Pratchett's Going Postal (2010) played by Alex Price
As Roger is sending messages the machine stops working and he calls over Princes to come look at it. Princess then sees that the entire system is down. Later, Reacher Gilt accuses Roger and Princess of helping to shut down the system. He grabs Princess and holds her over the side of the Clacks tower and threatens to drop her. Mr Pony goes to the tower and tells Reacher he thinks he has figured out a workaround. As Princess and Roger are transmitting the message from the race, the message suddenly stops before resuming again.
