Station 8 Superintendent tells Bill that his shift is over. When Bill leaves, Commando Cody comes out of hiding and asks Station 8 Superintendent who has the next shift. Station 8 Superintendent tells him Ed Williams is the next person on shift.

Station 8 Superintendent calls Commando Cody and tells him the storm is overloading the circuits and they need to be shut off. Commando Cody uses his fuel pack to fly to Station 8. Station 8 Superintendent tells him two of the primary dispenser units have burned out. Commando Cody says they will have to rewire the Z-Circuits which will require shutting down the machine for at least an hour. He rewires the machinery and then uses his fuel pack to fly to his rocket ship.
