The Octaman
Background
The Octaman is a half-human, half-octopoid living in a lake in a Latin American country.
During the events of Octaman (1971) played by Read Morgan
The Octaman watches as Mort Stein and Dr. Rick Torres capture one of its babies. It then kills Raul when he starts dissecting another baby. As Enrique and Pedro return to camp, they are attacked and killed by The Octaman. While the others are away from camp, The Octaman attacks Johnny Caruso and kills Carlos when he tries to help Johnny. It attacks the camp two more times while Johnny and Susan Lowry are alone. After it is captured while trying to kidnap Susan and injuring Mort Stein, The Octaman manages to escape. It flees into a cave and causes a rock slide trapping, Rick, Susan, Johnny, Mort, Davido and Steve Dodd. It waits for them to leave the cave and then attacks again. It tries again to kidnap Susan and she eventually shoots it. It then walks mortally wounded into the water as it is shot over and over again.
