Vriess
Background
Vriess is a mechanic and a member of the commercial freighter named the Betty. Vriess has a crush on Call.
During the events of Alien: Resurrection (1997) played by Dominique Pinon
Vriess and the rest of the crew of the Betty including Elgyn, Hillard, Christie, Call, and Johner arrive on the Auriga with their cargo of hijacked Sleepers. The crew is allowed to spend a couple of days on the ship and Vriess spends the time stealing parts from the supply onboard the Auriga. After the Xenomorphs break free, Vriess shoots at a xenomorph stalking him and gets a drop of its blood on his ear, burning him. He eventually meets up with the rest of the crew and they make their way to the Betty. They come to a point where they have to swim and Vriess is forced to abandon his wheelchair and is strapped to the back of Christie. As they are escaping from a xenomorph. Christie sacrifices himself when he becomes too injured and unhooks the straps holding him and Vriess and plummets to his death. Distephano and Purvis are then forced to carry Vriess the rest of the way to the Betty. Vriess and Johner then land the Betty on Earth.
