Boatswain is a boatswain on a merchant ship in the West Indies.
During the events of Black Sails: Season 1 Episode 1 I. played by Pierre Malherbe
As a merchant ship is being attacked by The Walrus, the Boatswain tells Captain Parrish that the Walrus is catching up to them and they should surrender.
