Background
Cronenberg is a medical technician at the Statue of Liberty Island security headquarters in New York.
During the events of Escape from New York (1981) played by John Strobel
Snake Plissken is forced to take a strong "anti-toxin" injected by Cronenberg which turns out to be tiny explosives set to go off in 21 hours. Later when Snake hands over the tape to Hauk, Cronenberg administers the charge to destroy the mini bombs in Snake's arteries.
