Detailed Synopsis
A group of Soldiers led by Thorton are chasing after a Runner. One of the Soldiers throws a grenade and wounds the Runner and then catches up with the Runner. The Runner grabs a rock and hits the Soldier in the face with it and then runs away. Thorton and the other Soldiers track down the Runner and then Thorton shoots him to death. Thorton then kills the Soldier the Runner hit with the rock. Back at the base, Sybil introduces the new recruits, which includes Cooper, to Colonel Hogan. Hogan asks each of the new recruits why they want to join and all of them tell him because of money, except Cooper, who wants to join for the fun. Thorton returns to base and Hogan tells him to kidnap another runner. Danton's alarm goes off and Jaimy tells him it is time to get out of bed. As he is taking out the trash, Danton is kidnapped in a van by Thorton and some Soldiers, which is witnessed by Jaimy. Don Michaelson goes to the base and tells Hogan, he has one month left to train the Soldiers. Danton is told to run by Thorton and runs towards the woods.
The Soldiers, Thorton and Cooper begin to hunt Danton, who starts picking off Soldiers. He captures one of the new recruits and interrogates him. The new recruit Soldier tells him they are 75 miles southeast of Los Angeles, they are training to be mercenaries and Hogan is in charge. One of the Soldiers tells Hogan that Danton stole his weapon and Hogan has Thorton kill the Soldier. Jaimy calls Jaimy's Father and asks him for help. Danton continues to whittle down the number of Soldiers. Jaimy tells Jaimy's Father what happened to Danton and gives him a description of the van and a partial license plate number. As Hogan and Sybil are kissing in the main tent, a Soldier runs in and tells Hogan all the Soldiers chasing Danton are dead. Hogan, Sybil, Thorton, Cooper and a new group of Soldiers start hunting Danton. Cooper finds Danton and they recognize each other from the time Danton took a bullet for Cooper. Danton tells Cooper to find a different line of work and knocks him unconscious. He sneaks into camp and warns Hogan to take his men and leave. In the morning, Danton is found by some Hillbillies who tell Danton to move along. Hogan and his group find the Hillbillies and kill both of them after asking where Danton is. As the Soldiers continue to stalk him, Danton kills more of them. Danton and Thorton get into a fist fight and Thorton wins. Before he can kill Danton, Hogan orders Danton brought back to base.
Hogan invites Danton to join him, but Danton refuses. Jaimy's Father sneaks onto the base and sees Michaelson having a meeting with Hogan. Danton manages to get himself free and escapes from the base, killing more Soldiers as he escapes. As Danton is about to be shot by a Soldier, Cooper shoots the Soldier and lets Danton escape. Jaimy's Father ambushes Michaelson and shoots him dead. Thorton kidnaps Jaimy and brings her to the base where she is raped by Hogan. Jaimy's Father is caught by Thorton and brought back to base and Jaimy tells him that Hogan raped her. Jaimy's Father tries to strangle Hogan and Hogan shoots him dead. Danton makes it home and finds Jaimy missing and Sybil in his house. Hogan calls on the phone and tells Danton he will trade Jaimy for him. Danton hangs up the phone and kills Sybil. He goes into his basement and arms himself with multiple weapons. Cooper joins with Danton and they rescue Jaimy. Danton then leaves Jaimy in some reeds to hide. The Soldiers, who are once again searching for Danton, start to be killed off by the traps he set the night before. Eventually Danton and Cooper kill the remaining Soldiers. Thorton finds Jaimy and gives her to Hogan. Hogan calls out to Danton and Cooper shoots Hogan, but is then shot and killed by Thorton. Jaimy runs away, but is caught by Thorton who murders her in front of Danton. Danton cuts off Thorton's arm with a machete and beats him to death with it before scalping him. He finds Hogan, has him take off his shirt and boots and then tells him to run.
