Detailed Synopsis

"A thousand years from tomorrow after the great neutron wars. the world consists of desert wastes and isolated city-states. A few machines remain as a reminder of the past, but only the city-dwelling Statemen use them. Between the cities roam the dreaded cannibal mutants and the Range Guides. Guides are legendary warriors leading an independent nomadic life, owing allegiance only to their code."

Kaz Oshay is riding his horse while he is being watched by Ankar Moor and his Enforcers. Kaz senses a trap and dismounts from his horse and begins to ambush Ankar's men. Ankar tells the Enforcers to flush Kaz out and that he wants Kaz alive. He then orders Enforcers on Death Machines to hunt Kaz down. One of the Enforcers shoots and vaporizes Kaz's horse and Kaz is shot with a stun blast and knocked unconscious. Ankar goes to the city-state Helix and tells Lord Zirpola that he has captured four Range Guides and only lost two Death Machines. Lord Zirpola is upset about the loss of the Death Machines and orders Ankar to capture a female Range Guide. Deneer and Adriann are escorting a group of people on horseback including Marcus Karl and Mr. Bakkar. Adriann tells Tarra to stay close to her and she and Deneer discuss the noise they are hearing. Mr. Bakkar rides up to them and asks if the noise is coming from Mutants. Deneer tells everyone to dismount from their horses and to form a circle. Polna spots Deneer and her group and rides towards them with a group of Enforcers. A fight breaks out and Adriann is killed. Tarra runs to where Adriann was killed and is grabbed by a group of Mutants. Deneer is shot by a stun blast and the travelers are told they are to return to Helix.

Kaz wakes up in a cell and and starts to kick at the door. He is electrocuted and warned by the Jailer that if he touches the door, he will be electrocuted again and is then electrocuted. Kaz notices Deneer in the cell across from him and they communicate telepathically. She tells him that Tarra was kidnapped and he promises to help her find Tarra when they are free. He says that they both once traveled together and she tells him that she was traveling with Kaz's mother when she was killed, and Kaz tells her that he didn't know his mother was dead. Lord Zirpola is in his office when he has a ringing migraine. Doctor Karl is sent to examine Lord Zirpola and he tells Lord Zirpola that he is dying from long term exposure to radiation. Lord Zirpola accuses Doctor Karl of lying to him and orders him arrested and sentenced to participate in Deathsport. Jailer continuously electrocutes Deneer and Kaz until he is told to stop by Polna. Doctor Karl is placed in the same cell as Kaz and tells him about Lord Zirpola's medical condition and that Lord Zirpola is going to war with Tritan in order to get fuel. Marcus goes to Doctor Karl's apartment and finds it sealed off and a notice stating Doctor Karl has been arrested for crimes against the state. Doctor Karl explains to Kaz what Deathsport is and Ankar asks Deneer what her name is and then asks Kaz what his name is. Kaz calls Ankar a traitor to the consciousness and Ankar admits to killing Kaz's mother, who had the ability to sense when a flash wind would appear days before it happened.

Marcus disguises himself as a guard and while he, Stateman Officer and another guard go to Kaz's cell, Marcus points a hand blaster at them. He frees Doctor Karl and Kaz and Kaz knocks the guard and Stateman Officer unconscious before shooting and killing Jailer with a hand blaster. Kaz frees Deneer, the other Range Guides and the other prisoners. Ankar tells Lord Zirpola about the escape attempt, and gas is poured into the cell area knocking the prisoners unconscious. Deneer is brought before Lord Zirpola and is tortured by him in a room full of glass rods which have electricity running through them. Kaz is whipped while Ankar watches and Kaz challenges Ankar to a duel, which Ankar declines. Kaz is returned to his cell and Deneer uses the power of her hands to heal his wounds. Polna and a group of Enforcers get Kaz and Deneer and they are tortured by Stateman Officer before they are forced to perform in Deathsport, which consists of riding around on motorcycle while killing each other. They are given helmets by Enforcer Sergeant and Kaz puts his on and rams Enforcer Sergeant in the stomach with it. Lord Zirpola tells the arena crowd that they will see the power of the Death Machines which will win them the war against Tritan. The first participants in Deathsport compete and the winner is granted his freedom. Kaz and Deener are given whistler swords and forced to fight on foot against statemen on Death Machines. They easily kill the Death Machine riders and steal their Death Machines and use them to escape from the arena and Doctor Karl and Marcus follow them. Lord Zirpola calls Ankar an idiot and Ankar grabs him by the throat and tells him never to talk to him that way.

Ankar, Polna and a group of Enforcers then go after the escapees. Lord Zirpola goes back to his room and watches a Dancer dance in the torture chamber. He starts to torture her and she grabs him and pulls him into the torture chamber and he is killed. Ankar is told that Lord Zirpola has died, but continues after Kaz and Deneer. Ankar lays a trap for Kaz and Deneer, but they manage to escape after killing some Enforcers. Kaz tells Doctor Karl he till take him and Marcus to Tritan after they find Tarra. The group camps overnight in an abandoned munitions factory and Kaz and Deneer have sex. Ankar ambushes them again and during the fight, Doctor Karl is vaporized by a hand blaster and Enforcer Sergeant is vaporized by Deneer. Deneer meditates and finds out Tarra was taken by Mutants. She, Kaz and Marcus go into the Mutant caves and take Mutant hostage and force him to take them to Tarra. They free her, but Mutant yells out to the other Mutants. Kaz kills Mutant, but Marcus is bit while they are escaping. Kaz tells the others to continue towards Tritan while he goes to a fuel base. Ankar, Polna and the remaining Enforcers attack Kaz and the last of the Enforcers are killed. Ankar tells Polna to return to Helix while he faces his destiny. Deneer and the others arrive at Tritan and and Tritan President thanks Deneer while Marcus is administered medical aid. A Tritan Guard yells out a duel is about to start and Deneer watches as Kaz and Ankar have a whistler sword duel. Kaz cuts off Ankar's head and Deneer and Tarra ride up to Kaz and bring him a horse. They then ride away together after Kaz and Deneer decide to continue their union.
