Denny
Background
Denny is an orphan who lives in the same apartment complex as Johnny and Lisa in San Francisco, California. He is dating Elizabeth. Denny likes to toss the football around.
During the events of The Room (2003) played by Phillip Haldiman
Denny walks into Johnny and Lisa's apartment and tells them he likes to watch, but is forced out when they are about to have sex. He stops by another time and asks to kiss Lisa before leaving. While he is on the roof of the apartment complex he is grabbed by Chris-R who demands his drug money. Denny tells him it will be there, but Chris-R pulls out a gun and puts it to his head. Denny is then saved by Johnny and Mark. He later tells Johnny that he is in love with Lisa, but when Johnny asks about Elizabeth, Denny tells him he is going to marry her and having a baby with her once he graduates. Denny goes to Johnny's surprise birthday party and after Johnny commits suicide, he runs into Johnny and Lisa's bedroom. Denny then cries holding Johnny's body and tells Lisa and Mark to leave him as an ambulance arrives.
