Francis
Background
Francis 7 is a member of the Sandmen. He lives in a Domed City.
During the events of Logan's Run (1976) played by Richard Jordan
Logan 5 is staring at the newborn babies in the nursery when he wonders if one of them is the next Logan and Francis knocks on the window to wake the babies. He and Logan then go to watch a Lastday Group at carrousel. Logan gets a call on his communication device that there is a Runner, and Francis follows him. He and Logan find and taunt the Runner before killing him. Francis comes back to his and Logan's apartment that night with two women and they have a party. Francis starts to worry about Logan when Logan begins questioning him about renewal. He follows Logan into the Cathedral and sees Logan let Woman Runner go, but then kills The Woman Runner. He then follows Logan to New You and asks him why he let the Runner go and Logan pushes him away. Francis then chases Logan and Jessica 6 through the Love Shop into a secret room. Francis with a group of Sandmen then start attacking everyone in the room. He continues to chase after Logan and Jessica and follows them into an ice cave where he finds Box destroyed. He tracks them down in Washington, D.C. and grabs Jessica in the Capitol Building. Francis ignores Logan's pleas and fights Logan, but is beaten with a flagpole by Logan. Francis sees Logan's clear life clock and tells him he has renewed and then dies.
