Giara
Background
Giara is a member of the Needle People. She lives in the tunnel system of post apocalyptic New York City.
During the events of 2019: After the Fall of New York (1983) played by Valentine Monnier
Giara is with the other Needle People when they come across Shorty. They chase him thinking he is a child and are about to kill him when Parsifal intervenes and is forced to fight the Rat Eater King and is about to win when Jack stabs Parsifal in the arm and Parsifal, Ratchet and Bronx are forced to surrender. Rat Eater King decides Jack has brought back the most dead rats and Giara is chosen by Jack to be his for the night. A EURAC and Hunter group attack the Needle People camp and Giara is brought to the EURAC headquarters along with Parsifal and Bronx. Giara is freed by Parsifal and Bronx and they escape from the EURAC headquarters. Giara is brought along with the others by Shorty to the Tiny People camp. When the EURAC attack the Tiny People camp with a sonic weapon she is saved by Parsifal who puts animal wax in her ears. At Big Ape's camp Mutant tries to take Giara as his own, but Parsifal fights and defeats him. When Parsifal, Ratchet and Shorty leave the Professor's lab to go to the junk yard, Giara and Big Ape stay behind. Giara is knocked unconscious by Big Ape so he can rape Melissa. Giara and the others make it out of New York City by using the Professor's vehicle. Parsifal pulls the vehicle over in the desert and then confronts Ratchet that he is a cyborg. Ratchet and Parsifal fight. Giara grabs Ratchet when he is about to stab Parsifal and Ratchet stabs Giara. Giara tells Parsifal she sacrificed herself because she loves him and then Giara dies.
