Madame Blanc is the Vice Directess at the Academy of Freiburg in Freiburg, Germany. She was a very famous ballerina. Madame Blanc's nephew is Albert.

During the events of Suspiria (1977) played by Joan Bennett

Miss Tanner introduces Suzy Bannion to Madame Blanc who is surrounded by police inspectors. Madame Blanc walks over and introduces herself and then tells Suzy about Pat Hingle, who she says was expelled the day before, and was murdered by someone, and that is why the inspectors are there. A Police Inspector confirms with Madame Blanc what time Pat left the academy and Suzy overhears and confirms that is when she saw Pat leave. The next day, Madame Blanc walks in with Teacher and tells Suzy they have her room ready. Suzy tells her she would rather stay at Olga's which upsets Madame Blanc. After Suzy collapses and is brought to her new room, Madame Blanc walks in and Professor Verdegast injects something into Suzy's arm. Madame Blanc tells her, Olga brought her bags from her apartment for Suzy. After maggots start to fall from the roof, Madame Blanc apologizes and Teacher tells them the maggots only affected the floor where the students are staying. She tells the students they will be sleeping in the dance hall. After Daniel is killed, Suzy tells Madame Blanc more of what she heard when Pat left the academy. During their ritual, Miss Tanner tells Madame Blanc, Suzy didn't eat her food or drink her wine that evening and Madame Blanc insists Suzy must die. Madame Blanc asks Helena Markos to giver her power and starts instilling Suzy with sickness, After killing Helena Markos, Suzy runs outside the room and sees Madame Blanc and the other witches choking to death along with Pavlos.
