During the events of Theatre Macabre: Season 1 Episode 1 First Love played by Wieslawa Mazurkiewicz
Vladimir goes home and Pietrov asks him how hunting went. He mentions their new neighbors and Maria tells him, they received a letter from them and they are the Duchess of Zasyekin and Zinka. Maria says that they are impoverished and the butler tells them that they didn't even arrive in their own carriage. Maria tells Vladimir to deliver a reply. At dinner, the Duchess tells Pietrov that her husband squandered all of their money and Maria offers to speak to the prince on her behalf.
