Background
Polydeuces is the twin brother of Castor. He is an expert boxer. Polydeuces is from Sparta.
During the events of Jason and the Argonauts (1963)
Polydeuces competes in Jason's Olympic Games and earns a spot on the Argo. He then travels with the Argonauts to find the Golden Fleece. When Hercules says that he will not leave the Isle of Bronze, Polydeuces and Phalerus say they will not leave without Hercules. After being freed from King Aeetes' prison by Medea, Polydeuces is told to stay with the Argo by Argus while Argus goes with Castor and Phalerus to help Jason.
