Background
A Sandworm is a denizen of the sand dimension.
During the events of Beetlejuice (1988)
Both Barbara and Adam are chased when they go into the sand dimension after leaving their home. When Barbara is sent to the sand dimension by Betelgeuse, she eventually returns riding a sandworm that engulfs him.
