Spanish Boatswain is a boatswain on a Spanish Navy ship in the West Indies.
During the events of Black Sails: Season 2 Episode 1 IX. played by Martin Otto
John Silver calls the watchman down and Captain Flint kills him, but in the process wakes the crew who surrounds him. Spanish Boatswain tells Flint and Silver that he could torture them to find out information, but he offers to pay and release the person who tells him what he wants to know, and the other one shall be killed. Silver tells him everything. Silver is released and as Spanish Boatswain is about to shoot Flint, Silver hits him in the head.
