Background
Stacey Kennedy is a college student in Los Angeles, California. Her parents are Sam and Alex and her siblings are Lil Sam, Melanie, and Pauley. Her grandparents are Ms. Johnson and Mr. Johnson, her aunt and uncle are Robert Jr. and Lisa and her cousin is Alexandria. Her boyfriend is Kevin. She is doing an internship for TNT in Atlanta, Georgia.

On Sunday after church, Stacey arrives at the Johnson and tells Ms. Johnson about school. Ms. Johnson tells her that the Johnson women deserve a man who will take care of them. Lisa asks Ms. Johnson how she and Mr. Johnson met and she tells Lisa, Hilary, Stacey and Melanie how on their first date, Mr. Johnson brought her roses and they went on his fishing boat. All the women decide to do a shopping day next to Stacey's college. Lil Sam yells that dinner is ready and Stacey tells Melanie that she misses being around her and the others. At dinner, Mr. Johnson starts off by giving thanks followed by the rest of the family. Alex announces that she and Sam are going to open another restaurant. Robert Jr. gets up to get some wine and goes back to the table and raises a toast to Sam and Alex and says may their new restaurant not be like their old one and that it be a success. Stacey tells Pauley that life is about balance. Before Stacey leaves, Sam and Alex give her a gas card. Six months later, Ms. Johnson says that Stacey is about to graduate college.
