Whalers were English whalers in 1856.
During the events of The Dreaming (1988) played by Kym Hyde, Michael Evans, Geoff Ledger, Val Pylpenko, Frank Smith, Phil Swan, Ken Hopkins, Paul Cornelius, John Blocki, Jeff James, Michael Dare, and Phil van Dyck
In 1856, the Whalers saw the bonfires of an Aboriginal camp and took a boat ashore. Once they landed they murdered the men and raped the women.
