Yen Sun
Background
Yen Sun is a resident of Lincoln County, New Mexico. She is originally from Silver City, Nevada, but was given to L.G. Murphy after her family destroyed one of his shirts.
During the events of Young Guns (1988) played by Alice Carter
Doc Scurlock sees Yen standing next to L.G. Murphy and invites her to dance. As they are dancing she tells him that Murphy is her guardian. Doc tells Yen a poem he wrote and after he recognizes Doc, Murphy leaves with her. Doc sees Yen and offers her flowers, but she refuses to accept them. Later, he goes to speak with Yen to try and convince her to leave with him, but she refuses. Murphy, Yen and Judge Bristol ride up in Murphy's carriage and Yen runs to Alex McSween's house. The cavalry troops start shooting at the home and Murphy's posse starts the house on fire. The Regulators run out of the house and start shooting at the troops and posse members. Doc mentions in the epilogue that he, Yen, and her family moved East.
