She tells the students to wait as she tries to shatter a glass with her voice. The Fart Lady then lets out a loud scream causing the students and [[Mother in Portrait]] to cover their ears before cheating and smashing the glass. Later, the Fat Lady disappears from the common room portrait. [[Albus Dumbledore]] arrives with [[Mr Filch|Argus Filch]], who is holding [[Mrs Norris]], and Dumbledore tells Mr Filch to round up the ghosts to search for the Fat Lady.
