First Mate 1

Background

First Mate 1 is a first mate on a merchant ship in the West Indies.

During the events of Black Sails: Season 1 Episode 1 I. played by Robert Coutts

As a merchant ship is being attacked by The Walrus, The Walrus catches up to the merchant ship and Captain Parrish tells his men to fall back. He and a few others run to a cabin and he tells First Mate 1 to close the door. First Mate 1 tells him that Fisher is still outside and Parrish ignores him and closes the door. Fisher runs to the door and begs to be let in, but is shot dead. A barrel rolls towards the door and explodes and most of the remaining sailors on the merchant ship are killed.
