Gatekeeper is one of two gatekeepers to Heaven.

During the events of Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991) played by Taj Mahal

Bill, Ted and the Grim Reaper walk up to Gatekeeper who asks them the meaning of life. Bill and Ted recite the lyrics from the song Every Rose Has Its Thorn and they are allowed into the Pearly Gates.
