Gypsy 4 is a convict living in dystopian Manhattan, New York. He is a member of the Gypsies, the Duke's gang.
During the events of Escape from New York (1981) played by Joel Bennett
Gypsy 4 is in the train car guarding the President. He shoots Snake Plissken in the leg with a crossbow bolt before Snake kills him by throwing a knife into his forehead.
