Johnny the Boy

Background

Johnny the Boy is a nomad biker and a member of Toecutter's Gang.

During the events of Mad Max (1979) played by Tim Burns

Johnny the Boy arrives in New Jerusalem with the rest of the gang to recover the coffin of the Nightrider. He chases after Lair and Girl in Chevvy with the rest of the gang, and helps to destroy Lair's vehicle. He gets high and stays behind while the others leave and is arrested by Max and Jim Goose. He is brought to the Halls of Justice and put in a suit and held by Goose and Charlie, but is ordered to be released by Silvertongue and the People's Observer when no one shows up to testify against him. He taunts Goose and vows revenge against him before being pulled away by Bubba Zanetti. Johnny the boy messes with Goose's motorcycle while Goose is inside a cabaret and then causes Goose to crash the truck he is borrowing. Johnny the Boy is then forced to set Goose on fire by Toecutter. He tracks Jessie down with the rest of the gang and then drives off with them after Toecutter runs Jessie and Sprog over. Johnny the Boy is forced to crash his motorcycle when Max drives right at him. Johnny the Boy helps set a trap for Max by acting like he is crashed on the side of the road and flees when Max shoots and kills Bubba Zanetti. He causes another truck to crash and is stealing the boots of the dead driver when he is found by Max. Max handcuffs one of his ankles and then attaches the other cuff to the wreckage of the vehicle. Max tells Johnny the Boy that he can either burn or cut his ankle off and Johnny the Boy begs Max as Max walks off. The wrecked vehicle then explodes.
