Lucius goes to Erastes asking for help finding a loan, however Erastes tells him no. Erastes then offers Lucius a job as his personal bodyguard during business meetings and Lucius accepts. Erastes and his bodyguards go to the home of [[Tanjit]]. Erastes demands Tanjit pay him the money he owes, but Tanjit refuses as he says Erastes sold him skinny pigs that didn't know how to find truffles.
