Tanjit is a businessman living in Rome. He is a Hindu.
During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 5 The Ram has Touched the Wall played by Parvez Qadir
Erastes Fulmen along with Lucius Vorenus and some other bodyguards go to the home of Tanjit. Tanjit offers Erastes milk to drink, instead of beer and Erastes insults Tanjit. Erastes demands the money that Tanjit owes him, but Tanjit only offers to pay him a quarter of what he was supposed to pay him as the pigs he was delivered were skinny and none of them could find truffles. Erastes demands his full amount, and when Tanjit refuses, Erastes has Lucius break Tanjit's arm. When Tanjit refuses again, Erastes orders Lucius to kill Tanjit, but Lucius walks away.
