Barnstable

Background

Christopher Barnstable works for Riche Tool and Mining Industries.

During the events of Godmonster of Indian Flats (1973) played by Christopher Brooks

Barnstable goes to Virginia City to try and buy property from Charles Silverdale and The Citizens of Virginia City. Silverdale tells Barnstable that his property isn't for sale as he wants to keep the area as it once was. Barnstable is then introduced to Phillip Maldove by Silverdale. During the Tourist Festival, Barnstable is walking with some of Alta's Girls when he comes to a bottle shooting game. As he is shooting at the bottles, he is tricked by Sheriff Gordon into believing that he shot Gordon's dog, Lance. The crowd quickly turns against Barnstable and when Barnstable goes to Lance's funeral, Gordon refuses to shake his hand. The following day, Barnstable is continuously rejected by The Citizens of Virginia City when he tries to buy their mineral rights. While at a bar with Madame Alta, Barnstable gets into an argument with Phillip Maldove, who pulls a gun on him. Phillip later apologizes and invites Barnstable to his place and then hits Barnstable in the head with a bottle. He wakes up in a jail and told he shot Phillip Maldove and later is taken to be lynched, when he escapes and jumps into Madame Alta's car. They drive to the lab of Dr. Clemens and are surrounded by Silverdale's Posse. Barnstable is recaptured and is later told by Silverdale that he bought out the locals mining rights and sold them to Mr. Riche himself. Silverdale drives Barnstable to the announcement of the Godmonster, and after the Godmonster is destroyed yells at Barnstable that he beat him.
