Chief Augur is the leader of the Temple of Jupiter. He is married to Cecilia.
During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 4 Stealing from Saturn played by Roger Hammond
Caesar goes to the Temple of Jupiter to see if the augurs will ask the Gods if they favor him and his actions. The Chief Augur tells him an augur will be done during the first clean morning. At Atia of the Julii's party, Caesar and Mark Antony have a conversation with the Chief Augur, during which they offer him a bribe. During the augur reading the signs point to the Gods favoring Caesar and it is declared to the people.
During the events of Rome: Season 1 Episode 9 Utica played by Roger Hammond
During Cesar's dinner party. Chief Augur asks Caesar what his plans are. Caesar later tells Chief Augur to make Gaius Octavian a Pontiff to replace one that recently died.
