Background
Sergeant Farrell is an NCO in the British Army and was assigned to the 42nd blockade near Manchester.
During the events of 28 Days Later (2002) played by Stuart McQuarrie
During a dinner conversation Sergeant Farrell tells the others he believes the natural order would return if humanity died, because humans had only existed for a short time. When Jim, Selena and Hannah try to escape, Sergeant Farrell tries to help them. He is ordered to be executed by Major Henry West and is brought along with Jim to a clearing. Private Jones shoots and kills Sergeant Farrell before Corporal Mitchell can bayonet him to death.
